What is CAP?

This is a free advice clinic, where local volunteer solicitors, barristers and students from University of West London give advice to members of the public on all areas of law, including community, human rights and equality (non-commercial only). This training has led to over 30 students/volunteers obtaining paid employment.

Our team

CAP offers our student volunteers and other volunteers the opportunity to resolve client enquiries while being supervised by our team of experts and practitioners.

A long-standing collaboration with the University of West London has given us office space and alumni volunteer practitioners who are now leading lights in their field of expertise, and student volunteers who are able to gain valuable experience they would struggle to find elsewhere, by shadowing them.

Many volunteers find paid work elsewhere having gained skills such as interviewing, letter writing, form filling and legal practice.
